wimo ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, nickname, and profile information you choose to provide (avatar, bio, birthday).
User-Created Content: Characters, stories, scenes, worlds, and other creative content you build within the app.
Chat Data: Messages you exchange with AI characters and other users. AI conversation history is used to enable the character memory feature.
Voice Data: If you use voice cloning, we process audio samples you provide to generate voice models. Audio recordings in chat are stored for message delivery.
Usage Data: App interaction data, device information, and crash reports to improve our service.
Media: Images, audio files, and videos you upload or generate within the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the app's features; enable AI character interactions and memory; process voice cloning and text-to-speech; deliver messages between users; improve our services and fix issues; enforce our terms of service.
3. AI Features & Data Processing
Our AI features process your conversations to generate contextual responses and build character memories. Character memories include episode summaries and factual knowledge extracted from your chats. This data is associated with your account and the specific character. AI-generated content (text, images, voice) is processed by our servers and third-party AI service providers.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Content you publish as "public" is visible to other users. We share data with: AI service providers for content generation; cloud infrastructure providers for storage and delivery; analytics providers for service improvement. We may disclose information when required by law.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. Chat messages are cached locally on your device and synced with our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Media files are stored in secure cloud storage buckets with access controls.
6. Your Rights
You can: access and update your profile information; delete your content (characters, stories, scenes, worlds); request account deletion which soft-deletes your profile and associated data; control the visibility of your content (public/private); manage AI character memory data.
7. Children's Privacy
wimo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by other means.
